When Roleplaying Meets Opportunity

You may have met one of our fellow LARPers at the last LARP with a table set up as you entered the field. He was signing up people who were interested to be actors for a movie he is making. In case you missed him, here are the details: “My name is Nathanael.  I’m making a fan film about the DC Comics superhero Kid Flash.  The plan is to shoot the movie in June over …

Unless I am wrong, and I am never wrong…

Announcement! A new picture gallery has appeared!   Is there a plethora of pictures, you may ask?  Oh yes, we have a plethora! Just go to the brand new Ye Olde Gallery to peruse hundreds (literally hundreds) of photos, with options for downloading as well. This gallery is of the most recent LARP.  Like Merlin, the galleries will age backwards as time goes on.

Justice

I overheard a conversation.  It went something like this (converted to first person for your reading pleasure, and a few other details have been changed to protect the guilty): “I need something done to somebody”, I said. “I’m somebody.” “Are you the somebody who can do something to somebody else?” “Yes.  That is something I can do.” “Somebody insulted me”, I said. “It wasn’t me.” “I know that.” “But I am somebody, and I’m telling …

A Thieves Tale…

A Medieval Skill

Did you get to visit with Eric F. the leatherworker and learn a medieval skill?  He was kind enough to bring tools and supplies for us to try our hand at decorating bracelets, and making other leather goodies.  We wanted to give him and his store a shout-out for helping make our day so delightful.  In case the “leatherworking bug” bit you, like it has Rayth and Stryder, we wanted to let you know where …

As the Dust Settles…

Thank you for making it a fantastic day! Even with the threat of rain, we had the most attendees ever – 80+! We gathered to celebrate Winterfest and everyone got a Journey Staff. People were dressed in their finest to reflect their affiliation with Falton as peasants, warriors, princesses, rogues, wolves, and many other occupations!  Livestock was missing and we were hungry.  Ladies presented their slain livestock and Falton’s hired werewolf hunter verified werewolves were …
