It’s sooner than you think, but not soon enough.

60 degrees in January — we should be LARPING!!!

Captain John Sterling Beauregard got some new weapons for his birthday, so we dressed for some pictures today and of course enjoyed a little combat.  Hopefully Christmas, birthdays, and perhaps a personal hobby have added to your LARP gear.

About the census…  like I wrote in my comments, last year we made a push to upgrade our costumes, and everyone did a WONDERFUL job! For the beginning of 2017, we are pushing for improved in-character role playing. Bringing the characters to “life”, seems to bring the day to life.

So, on March 18th we will have census stations.  You can volunteer to run a station in the service of Roam for part of the time, or you can play the part of a citizen and tell the census-taker your story.  The whole thing should be played out in character.  This can be over in 3 minutes, or you are welcome to sit and talk for hours.   If you need a little help fleshing out your character, you may want to take a look at: dungeonsmaster.com/2010/11/27-questions/

to see some of the questions you may be asked at the census.

The census will just be a small part of the day.  We’ll have tournaments and dances, and… well, you’ll just have to see.

Another new element in Falton is the “Salty Broth Inn”.  This is a place to drink a beverage, plan a kidnapping, and swap stories of the realm.  We think you’ll like what you find/create here.

Less than 2 months away — CAN’T WAIT!!!

Stryder  & Captain J.S. Beauregard

P.S.  For this first event, new attendees are welcome.  Remember, whoever you invite should understand our conservative Christian values, be 11 years old or older, and be willing to sacrifice a personal “win” for the fun of others.  (And, it would be good if they read the rules before showing up…)

    • You may slip through the cracks of the Empire and remain a shadow on the landscape. Or, perhaps you will be hunted down and thrown into the stocks. Life can at times be a gamble…
