- There is nothing you can do to mess up the “script” of the game. Be creative, push the limits, act on your ideas. (All the while being willing to sacrifice a personal win for the fun of others.)
2. After the game, we’ll play “Objectives Bingo”, trying for 5 in a row. The Objectives that will fill the Bingo cards are the following list, in no particular order, so you may want to accomplish these types of things during the evening:
- make a friend
- make an enemy
- sent in your character info before the game
- backseat drive the dirigible
- learn a secret
- read all of the web postings for this event before the game
- help someone else achieve an objective start a duel—of strength, wits, or anything else
- state your theory onstage during the trial
- buy, sell, or trade something
- get someone to help you achieve an objective
- speak to an airship crew member about the ship and/or its safety
- accomplish a personal objective
- do something helpful around the dirigible
- Follow through on the information on a slip of paper
- give someone a heartfelt compliment
- learn about someone’s past
- learn someone’s reasons for travelling on the Good Ship Lollipop
- come up with a theory about the murder and share it with at least one person
- help send a telegraph for help
- Use a Story Master to accomplish a Stealth action
- help get the ship back on course
- do something just to make it fun for others
- talk to someone of a different social status from you
- discuss your opinions on androids, or trash-talk a pirate
Several dozen people and I can’t wait for tomorrow’s LARP!
“Game on” at 6:30. See you soon.
