Thoughts from the deep within the tunnel: Whether due to crime, poverty or physical infirmity, you have been sent to the mines. Others you know were not so lucky. Two trains left the city. One train taking its occupants to the mines; the other to the front lines of the war. Those on the train to the front lines will never come back. At least on the mine train you have a chance to return home, even if the chance is small. Best get digging.
Thoughts from the subterranean camp: While there’s never been anything like a real celebration in Undertown, the arrival of this new batch of “recruits” is about as close as we’ve seen. The bosses are so glad to be back in production after having lost the last batch, they’ve brought in circus performers to lighten the burdens of the day. Best get cooking.
Saturday, February 15th, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Genre is Steampunk, post-apocalyptic, mining camp. Costumes leaning toward drab, well-worn greys and browns. Whites should be “dirtied” before you arrive, and they will get dirtier… Articles of clothing with brass or bright color should be limited to handkerchief-sized items. Leather is encouraged. Steampunk Nerfs are encouraged. More details to follow. This will be unlike any Torchlight/Ravenwood LARP to date; you probably don’t want to miss it…
