‘Twas Indeed the Epic-er-est LARP Yet!

DSCN5010

Well, if that wasn’t epic-er-est, I don’t know what is.  Friday night was nothing shy of magical.  Were you there for (or did you see):

  • The flaming arrows that lit the signal fires?
  • The fire that was taller than the trees?
  • The attack(s) on the adventurer party?
  • The treasure chest lit by torchlight?
  • The radiance of the gem filled treasure when it was opened?
  • The greed of the rogue bandits who stole the treasure?
  • The bravery of the ones who retrieved it?
  • The glorious battle between adventure leaders, leading to the demise of both?
  • The battle field lit like a stadium?
  • The voluminous treasure on the path leading to the fairy camp?
  • The fire, lanterns and torches of the fairy camp?
  • The campfire songs and games?

All of that happened in the first night!

On Saturday we experienced:

  • Wonderful tournaments
  • Plotting and deceit
  • Treasures and quests galore
  • Fortunes won and lost at the gaming table
  • Pumpkin Juice!
  • An accused rebellion leader in the stockade and shackles
  • Bounty hunters doing their job
  • A young lady dressed to the medieval nine’s in a hand sewn costume
  • Werewolves on the prowl
  • And a grand finale battle that went on and on due to the helping hand of the healers and the determined nature of the warriors.

Mega-thanks to the Adkins, for helping get everything set up, and to the Neumanns, Mrs. Van Zandt, the Karrs, the Albers, Mr. Bowman, Anne, the mystery lady from Michigan — Laura 😉  and Mrs. Smith

  1. Huzzah! This truly was the epic-er-est LARP ever. Thanks ever so much to everyone involved!

Also, I wrote a story about this LARP. To whom do I give it so it can go in the story area?
