My noble and loyal compatriots,
This holiday season has been a whirlwind of activity for me, and I am sure you have all been busy too. However, now that the holidays are past, and school is about to begin, I think it is about time to bring Torchlight LARP out of it’s hibernation! The date for the next event is set: March 19th.
So start modifying your outfits, crafting your weapons, and making your plans! Also, don’t forget to stay tuned on the website. There are plenty of stories that have been sent in but not yet posted.
Finally, if you got any cool LARP related things for Christmas, tell us about them in the comments!
I got an amazing cutlas, its light weight so easy for one handed wielding and light taps. One of the biggest issues I have with sword fighting is my fingers get hit a lot but this has a massive hand guard covering it and the blade is made of this no chip foam combined with enough durability makes it perfect for both absorbing blocks and hitting. Not to mention cutlas is by far my favorite sword ever so suffice it to say this is becoming my main weapon.
I got duck tape and a leather belt .
I’m glad Eric found the time to update the web posting. I know there are more photos and stories to post so stay tuned folks.
Eric and I received leather working tools for Christmas. We have already made a number of bracelets, bracers and other cool household items. We are eager to continue with making shoulder armor to be ready for March.
I got a fabulous leather belt with lots of pockets for carrying stuff. Especially wonderful considering I’m planning an assassin’s creed type of costume for March.
(I got Assassin’s Creed for Christmas as well)
