The next LARP is less than a full moon away. During one of our Festivals, we will be celebrating Fallton’s Winterfest. This is the festival commemorating the occasion when Lord Harding slew the Ice Dragon and freed our land from the season that was always winter but never Christmas. In addition to festivals, we’ll have battles, treasure hunts, human chess, a dance, and perhaps we’ll even see Troll the Yul’etide Car’ol. And, we are talking with an artisan about possibly providing leatherworking demonstrations.
March 19, 2016
12:00 Game on! Start acting out your story.
5:00 — 8:00 Enjoy the afterglow, the pictures, and perhaps a movie
The setting for the next LARP is half a year past the last event when the Empress was slain (RIP), and the werewolves and town’s people began sharing the land. All seemed well following the embrace of the human and werewolf leaders, but rumors have since begun that may result in unrest before this day is out.
What can you bring to LARP in addition to an awesome costume, and approved weapons? We could use more stuffed animals to represent our livestock resource. Of course, snacks that can either to be sold at the market, or handing out during the festivals, are always welcome.
Please refresh on the rules, and remember the #1 rule, Make it fun for everyone.
Looking forward to a great start to a great year!

I think it’s great the first LARP of the year is in March: March (the first month of the Roman calendar) is named after Mars, the Roman god of war, because March was the start of the fighting season for the ancient Romans (fighting season went from March to October).
Always Winter and never Christmas? Sounds like story fodder to me.
