- Eat dinner before you arrive Friday night.
- You are welcome to invite newbies, as long as they are at least 14 years old, and are willing to sacrifice a personal win for the fun of others. (They should read the rules page of this website before Friday.)
- You must (of course) be in costume – probably didn’t even need to say that to this bunch of professionals.
- It is all about the role playing. Make it real. Come with your character’s story.
- Wear good shoes that work in mud and seriously consider long pants or leggings. It will be cold Friday night, and the movie will be outside.
- For the night adventure, you can only use “torchified” flashlights (see https://mamachefcrafts.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/fun-flashlight-torches/) or glowsticks. Alternatively, the Jester’s Closet will be selling really cool candle lanterns.
- Be careful in the dark. There are sticks and thorns and stumps and poison ivy (this ain’t Disney after all…). Don’t run where you can’t see.
- Bring whatever sleeping gear you need. Tents are preferable but people will be sleeping inside also. Set up your tents in the flat spot in the front yard.
- Bring something warm and cuddly to wrap up in for the outdoor movie.
- If you can bring snack foods or breakfast foods, that would be delightful. There will be a jar for cash donations.
