We had 100 people join us in April and had a fantastic day. Pictures will go up this week.
Even though the sun was shining (which is very unusual in Falton), we quickly got used to it and battled and quested and interacted and skitted and chessed and marketed and banked and archeryed and all the wonderful things you do to make Torch Light LARP and the town of Falton come alive.
Can I hear a round of “Huzzah” for the adult costumes! They have come a long way.
Also, a big “Thank You” to everyone who brought food to share! I think we ate better this time than ever before.
We truly appreciate the delightful friends and family that you have allowed us to get to know. To be able to continue to offer high-quality, safe-fun, for our current participants, we are going to close enrollment for the rest of the year (June 18 and July 30, 2016).
What does this mean? If you have joined us at any LARP in the past, please come join us again. However, PLEASE DO NOT INVITE ANYONE NEW. Not your roommate, cousin, brother, sister, half-sister, Aunt’s niece, nor the Lone Ranger’s nephew’s horse.
Always welcome, even if they have never attended, are your PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS – IF THEY ARE IN COSTUME. We believe everything is more fun with mom and dad around, when they are in costume.
If there is an exceptional situation for someone you want to invite (“My brother who is a missionary in Tanzania is on furlough for this one day, and wants to come see what LARP is all about…”) send your request to [email protected] and we’ll give it consideration.
What about 2017? All I can say is – Lord willing, LARP will not end on July 30, 2016. We are talking now about what LARP may look like after we lose Rayth to the dark side of adulthood (OSU).
