You’ll have to decide if this is good news or bad news. Torch Light LARP’s first event of the year, the Steampunk Pirate Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre will be postponed to February 23rd.
Q: But why Stryder, why?
A: To give you the opportunity to enjoy a different Murder Mystery Theatre!
One of our own (who often plays a drunken author), has written a MMT that will be hosted by the Mary L. Cook public library in Waynesville. This will be held February 16th, arrive at 4:45. There is a sign-up sheet at the library — there are a limited number of “seats” in this interactive play, so if you’d like to attend, don’t delay in signing up. Already I know of three Torch Light LARPers who will be there. Here’s the setting for this event:
What a wonderful achievement! The local library is sharing the illustrious achievement of one million books having been borrowed, with a night of community and fancy dining. Sadly, the night is sullied by a heinous death. The victim is, the assistant director of the library, Brooke Mark. The gathering, ruined by the news of foul play, shifts its attention to the colorful cast of characters that seem to be in attendance. It is up to the patrons to determine who is the true killer before they leave, or the library may have to close its doors . . . For good!
Summary:
— Mary L. Cook Public Library Murder Mystery Theatre: February 16th at 4:45. (Sign-ups required)
— Sweet Rayne / Torch Light LARP Steampunk Pirate Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre: February 23rd at 5:00.
Come on out and PLAY!

P.S. What does this picture have to do with anything in this post? Absolutely nothing. But, on our walk today, we were seeing Axel and the Princess and the General and Penelope and the Professor, and the Sisters and all the other travelers on the dirigible. The ghosts of these events linger here long after the actors go home…
I absolutely love the P.S.
