Come with whatever backstory/attitude/accent you want, but all that really matters is that you are a patriot, and you are proud to be doing your part to support the war effort. You believe in your country, and the government, and while you may not support every action, you generally believe that any difficulties placed on you or those around you, are ultimately for the good of the country. You’re just glad you weren’t sent to the war.
