This LARP will be different. I want you to know what to expect so you can maximize the fun for all.
In-Game Activities: There will be two crews. One crew mines while the other performs camp chores, then the crews switch.
While mining, you will in real-life, actually be sifting through dirt looking for gemstones. You will be “panning” for gemstones in a sluice. You will be chipping away large stones looking for small gemstones. None of this is pretend — these will be actual, physical, dirty activities. While doing this stuff, you will have to be watching over your shoulder for monsters that you’ll shoot with your Steampunked Nerf gun.
While working camp chores, you will be doing things like washing dishes, hanging laundry, peeling potatoes, brewing tea, preparing bandages, etc.
